Roots

In this painting, I have depicted how I often find myself entangled in a web of questions. One question leads to many others, and I keep searching for answers on my own. I have given prominence to Buddha in the painting because of how he, too, faced deep questions and sought answers, eventually becoming a symbol of peace for the world. Through inquiry and experience, Buddha encouraged a process of skepticism to find truth, rejecting blind belief or unverified authority. His teachings align, in some ways, with a scientific approach to understanding life. As we search for answers, we encounter various experiences that guide us on our path, helping us progress. Just as the sky has no limit, the quest for answers and the progress of the seeker also have no boundaries. This process of questioning has led to advancements in every field, and similarly, in art, it fuels progress in different forms and expressions. I am trying to convey that asking questions and the experiences gained along the journey always lead us forward.
